Nestled in the beautiful Samford Valley, just 35 minutes from Brisbane, Green Thumb Farm is a small community farm where seasonal food is grown with care for both people and the planet. While close to the city, the valley feels a world away — surrounded by mountains, fresh air, and the quiet pace of rural life.
This is more than a tour. It’s an invitation to slow down, get your hands in the soil, and experience how food is truly grown.
Your visit begins with a relaxed guided walk through the farm, where you’ll learn how we grow food in Queensland’s subtropical climate using regenerative and organic practices. We’ll share the real story of small-scale farming — what works, what challenges us, and why community-grown food matters.
Then, with a basket in hand, you’ll head into the garden to harvest your own selection of seasonal greens, herbs, and edible flowers — picked fresh, just moments before eating.
In our shaded outdoor space, you’ll create your own vibrant seasonal salad and learn how to make a simple, delicious dressing using local honey, olive oil, and fresh herbs. Taste, adjust, and make it your own.
Once your meal is ready, settle in. Share a table, roll out a picnic rug, and enjoy the simple pleasure of eating fresh food in the place it was grown. Breathe deeply, slow down, and take in the view across the valley.

Investment & Group Size
Group Price: $1,815.00 (inclusive of GST) for a group of up to 10 participants.
Additional Participants: $181.00 per person (Maximum of 5 additional paying guests).
