Be a Farmer for a Day

Green Thumb Farm is a community-driven, not-for-profit farm dedicated to growing food, sustainability, and composting. It welcomes visitors of all ages and abilities, including school children and people with disabilities, to learn hands-on skills in regenerative farming.
The Be a Farmer for a Day experience invites individuals to step into the role of a farmer, getting their hands dirty and making a real impact. From 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, participants will help with harvesting, planting, composting, garden maintenance, and caring for the farm’s diverse crops. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, work, and connect with nature. A delicious morning tea is provided.
This experience allows participants to:
- Support a not-for-profit farm and contribute to a sustainable food system.

- Learn practical skills to take home for gardening and sustainable living.
